Dynalene HC-20 used in large heat recovery application
When a large truck manufacturing facility in the mid Atlantic region decided to recover waste heat generated by their plant, and put it to use as comfort heating, they were faced with several options. After working side by side with engineers for several months they selected a heat recovery system utilizing a secondary heat transfer fluid loop. This system design would be cost effective and highly efficient. The next step was to identify a capable working fluid. With all the fluids available on the market ranging from Glycols to Silicones they chose the Dynalene HC-20 fluid.
The fluid’s “non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally friendly chemistry provided all the attributes required for this type of application” a spokesman said. Not to mention its high temperature stability. Now approaching the 1 year anniversary we are happy to report a greater than 15% savings on utility costs and one very happy customer.

Dynalene Inc. receives $1.7 million in federal (SBIR) funding
Dynalene Inc. has received two Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants totaling $1.7 million starting in '04 from the DOE and DOD in '05. The DOD project is expected to last until '08 ending with a coolant utilizing nano-technology designed for Directed Energy Weapons (DEW) cooling. The DOE funding is to end this year with coolant, again using Nano-technology to cool and eliminate the need for an ion exchange column for fuel cells.

Dynalene Inc. introduces BioGlycol
Dynalene Inc. has collaborated with Dupont Tate & Lyle (a newley formed JV) to utilize their new product Susterra®, a corn derived glycol. The new Dynalene fluid called Dynalene BioGlycol will be a blend of Susterra® and Dynalene's inhibitor package. This new product dubbed "Nature's First Glycol" is expected to have great potential in the very large commodity glycol market.

Dynalene HC is the fluid of choice
Dynalene Inc. is proud to report that over 75,000 gallons of Dynalene HC will be used in a large climactic chamber in South Korea. This project is one of the largest of its kind and a testament to the user friendliness and high performance characteristics this fluid offers.
